gradually lower during this song, which I left unedited. Luckily, I switched batteries just in time for the
next song.

Notes
Patterson Hood was evidently sick and consequently was not at the show. The venue notified ticket holders that they could get a refund if they wanted, but most attended and the band played in front of a near-capacity crowd. Bloodkin opened.

show to be at. 4 stars just b/c no Patterson, but band was up to the challenge.

awful. Cooley had a chance to lead the band in Patterson's absence, but he was so drunk he was slurring his words and could barely keep his eyes open. He also flubs the lyrics to almost every song. Listen to Space City, he can barely manage the fingerpicking!
They constantly apologize for Patterson being sick and thank the audience for sticking around (suffering through). I can understand saying that at the beginning and the end, but after every song?
